Each month one Circle will be visiting Emerald Grove Assisted Care Facility to share with the residents some interactive activity. This outreach into the community is rewarding for both residents and us but also fills a requirement to maintain our Gold Unit Status.
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
CIRCLES:
Red Mountain UMW has 6 active Circles of women involved in the purpose of mission and fellowship by meeting once a month September thru May. Each Circle chooses their own area of study and focus working toward outreach within our own unit (Red Mountain UMC) and the community.
